How to Make Teriyaki Sauce?

Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

Teriyaki Sauce can be used as marinade for chicken, beef or fish. For fish fillet, use this sauce to marinate and then charcoal grill. If the sauce will be used for basting grilled meats, reduce the sauce by cooking in high heat until thickened.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice wine or sake
  • 1 cup Japanese soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dashi powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ginger juice

Procedures:

  1. In a saucepan, warm the rice wine over medium heat. Ignite wine and shake until flame dies.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
